Dr. Lori-ellen Pisani serves as Chief Academic Officer and Co-Creator of the Pisani–Kershaw Human Development & Life Readiness Program (PKP), a structured, lifespan-based framework integrating emotional fluency, behavioral regulation, literacy development, and practical life readiness within educational environments.
As Co-Creator of PKP, Dr. Pisani provides executive academic leadership over the framework’s theoretical foundation, developmental sequencing, certification standards, and instructional integrity. She is responsible for safeguarding the coherence, rigor, and research alignment of the PKP model across early learning sites, K–12 partnerships, fellowship training environments, and institutional implementations.
Dr. Pisani brings extensive experience spanning classroom instruction, educational leadership, curriculum development, and community-centered learning environments. Her professional background includes service in elementary education and school administration, including leadership as an acting assistant principal. Her work reflects a longstanding commitment to improving instructional clarity, strengthening school culture, and advancing measurable student growth.
A certified life coach, psychoanalyst, author, and keynote speaker, Dr. Pisani integrates developmental psychology, behavioral insight, and structured instructional design into the PKP framework. Under her academic leadership, the Pisani–Kershaw Program evolved from the original BrightStart Discovery Series into a comprehensive Pre-K–12 developmental architecture aligned with established educational benchmarks, including Maslow’s hierarchy-informed developmental progression, CASEL competencies, and state and national learning standards.
As Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Pisani oversees:
• Framework development and theoretical grounding
• Certification standards and competency requirements
• Assessment calibration integrity
• Ethical and instructional safeguard protocols
• Research alignment and academic positioning
• Fellowship curriculum design and evaluation standards
Her leadership ensures that PKP remains research-informed, non-ideological, operationally executable, and institutionally accountable across public, private, faith-based, and community settings.
Dr. Pisani serves as Chair of the PKP Certification Review Board, where she maintains final academic oversight for the PKP Certified Educator™ credential. Her role reinforces the program’s commitment to measurable performance, professional integrity, and disciplined instructional practice.
Through her work, Dr. Pisani advances PKP’s core mission: building structured human readiness through practical, developmentally sequenced skill formation across the lifespan.
