Co-Author, Pisani–Kershaw Human Development & Life Readiness Program
An accomplished educator, certified life coach, award-winning author, psychoanalyst, and keynote speaker with a distinguished career in educational leadership, curriculum development, and learner engagement. She serves as Senior Vice President of Educational Strategy at BrightPath Academy and is the co-author and academic steward of the Pisani–Kershaw Human Development & Life Readiness Program, the Academy’s comprehensive developmental framework for youth and transitional learners.
Dr. Pisani brings extensive experience spanning classroom instruction, school administration, and community-centered education. Her professional background includes service in elementary education and administrative leadership, including her role as an acting assistant principal, reflecting a longstanding commitment to improving student outcomes, instructional quality, and school culture. Her work integrates behavioral insight, curriculum coherence, and practical application of developmental psychology.
In her current role, Dr. Pisani provides academic oversight, program integrity, and quality assurance across the Pisani–Kershaw Program, which evolved from the legacy BrightStart Discovery Series into a more comprehensive, institutionally aligned human development and life readiness framework. The program spans Pre-K through 12th grade, with structured pathways supporting emotional regulation, communication, resilience, leadership, and financial readiness. Staged online deployment is scheduled to begin in 2026.
As co-author, Dr. Pisani plays a central role in shaping the program’s theoretical grounding, developmental sequencing, and instructional safeguards, ensuring alignment with accepted educational frameworks, including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, CASEL competencies, and state and national learning benchmarks. Her leadership ensures that the program remains research-informed, non-ideological, and operationally executable across public, private, faith-based, and community settings.
Dr. Pisani also serves as a key liaison between BrightPath Academy and partner educators, supporting professional development, curriculum adoption, and continuous evaluation of instructional outcomes. Her background as a certified life coach and psychoanalyst informs a holistic, skills-based approach to learning that emphasizes emotional intelligence, resilience, self-regulation, and real-world applicability.
