The Pathlight Mentor Program is a comprehensive, certification-based mentorship initiative built on the acclaimed Built From the Inside™ curriculum. Co-developed by Aaron B. Kershaw, with spiritual guidance from Dr. Jim Bostic, THD, and trauma-informed validation from Dr. Billye J. Jones, DSW, LCSW, this program transforms traditional mentorship into a story-centered, emotionally intelligent, and healing-centered journey.
Designed for mentors working with justice-impacted youth and adults, Pathlight equips facilitators to lead not with authority, but with authenticity.
At its core, Pathlight trains mentors to model vulnerability and guide mentees through structured emotional growth. The 10-book sequence; paired with facilitator guides, certification dashboards, and trauma-responsive language, helps participants progress from survival to healing to leadership.
