We are proud to report continued progress in our mission to bring healing-centered education to communities, institutions, and families nationwide.

Institutional Partnerships Underway
We are actively collaborating with both the South Carolina Department of Corrections (SC DOC) and the Westchester County Department of Community Operations (DCO) as they formally review the Built From the Inside™ system for potential integration into their correctional education and reentry programming. These agencies represent the first wave of institutional partners exploring full-scale adoption of our tiered SEL framework and mentorship-driven rehabilitation model.

Our first official pilot cohort, consisting of five participants, is now 30 days into the program. They are currently engaged with Book 4 of the Built From the Inside™ series. Already, one participant has been selected and certified as a future peer mentor, having completed the Pathlight Mentor Tier I Training. This early success signals both the scalability and transformational potential of the system.

Participant feedback has described the experience as “transformative,” “uplifting,” and “the first time I’ve ever looked at myself clearly without shame.” Multiple participants report concrete improvements in emotional control, communication, and home-life dynamics; citing their new ability to disengage from conflict, recognize trauma responses in others, and reflect without reacting. These foundational shifts represent exactly the kind of behavioral change our system is designed to support.

Family Healing & Book Series Completion

We have officially finalized the Family Reset Series; a three-book intergenerational healing system featuring Before It Spills (for parents), Real Talk (for teens), and Little Talks (for children ages 7–11). Designed for ministry, family engagement, and school-based SEL, the series provides conversation tools, emotional literacy scripts, and trauma-informed exercises for rebuilding trust and communication within the home.

National Faith-Based Presentation
Our key systems; Built From the Inside™, the Pathlight Mentorship System, and the Family Reset Series, will be presented at the upcoming 2025 National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, held June 16–20. There, Dr. Jim Bostic, our SVP of Strategic Initiatives & Community Impact, will speak on gun violence prevention and introduce our trauma-informed mentorship models as innovative, spiritually grounded alternatives to punitive or reactive programming.

Leadership Expansion and National Networks
We are honored to welcome Dr. Jim Bostic and Dr. Billye J. Jones to our executive leadership team. Dr. Bostic brings decades of frontline experience in reentry, behavioral health, and youth development, while Dr. Jones is a national expert in trauma-informed education, emotional regulation systems, and family healing frameworks. Their combined influence is already opening new pathways for partnership in church-based, justice-aligned, and school district ecosystems across the country.

Municipal Outreach – Summer 2025
We are actively preparing to present our mentorship and family programs to municipal leaders and agencies in New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Yonkers, Port Chester, and White Plains. These presentations; scheduled for June and July 2025, will focus on mentorship pipeline creation, intergenerational emotional healing, and scalable alternatives to youth incarceration and family services burnout.

BrightPath Academy: Now Live
We have successfully launched The BRIGHTPath Academy, a full-service digital education platform offering 16 full-length courses, each rooted in our published works from 2024 and 2025. The Academy delivers certification-ready programs for adult learners, mentors, families, and faith-based groups. Courses align with CASEL competencies, trauma-informed best practices, and our “Learn – Heal – Lead” framework, delivering high-impact transformation through accessible, story-based education.
